This is a benefit for situations where patients are kept on a stretcher waiting for a bed to become available for a longer period than anticipated.
Can be made to suit any stretcher model
The Forté Stretcher Support Surfaces provide consistent care in demanding medical environments and are customizable to suit any patient stretcher configuration, size, function and application. This includes the shape of the mattress and allowance for features such as safety straps in patient transport.
Infection Control
All seams high frequency sealed and welded to prevent any risk of infection spread or fluid ingress. The Forté Premiflex Technology ensures superior performance and resistance to cleaning agents
Non-slip – and no Velcro!
Velcro is an infection hazard, but stretcher support surfaces must not slip around and move on the stretcher. Forté stretcher mattresses offer the option of a non-slip polyurethane patch which is welded to the base of the cover. This patch provides excellent grip to the stretcher mattress – preventing sliding and improving safety.
Manufacturing
Forté Stretcher Mattresses are manufactured within our Armidale factory using unique specifications of high-performance raw materials. Sizing can be set to meet the exact brand of Stretcher within any facility including angled and shaped corners. Additional features and options include fastening straps, buckles, head and foot cushions all of which are manufactured to comply with infection control requirements and offer excellent longevity.
